What was Christopher Columbus’s perspective during his encounter with the native people?
He wanted the natives to come on the ships with him and his crew. He wanted them to come because the natives had a lot of gold and Christopher Columbus wanted all of the gold for himself.
What was Pedro’s perspective during his encounter with the native people?
Pedro did not want them on the ship because he thought the natives were going to take over the ship. But he tried to be nice to them even though Christopher Columbus was mean to them because that is how his mother raised him.

I think that the natives wanted to take over the ship. They wanted to tell everybody on the ship what to do instead of them telling the natives what to do.
